The show Fresh Price of Belair isnt a spin off it is actually a biography of a white guy who came out there and lived with some rich folks not relatives and they called him The Fresh Prince of Belair. The producer just incorporated Will Smiths life into the story. They did a biograpy about it on E! THS.

It wasn't a spin-off. It was created by Producer Quincy Jones specificall for Will Smith.

I didn't know that it was a spin-off of another show. I always thought it was based off a song by Will Smith or based off of things that happened in his life.....I actually have no clue but I do love the show.
