Being overdue, you should definately call the doctor. Sounds like you're having contractions. Good Luck, cause I know just from this site, that you've been waiting to have that baby for "forever!" Congratulations in advance!

I losr my mucus plug and went in full labor in about 24 hours or so. So get ready and get alot of rest you'll need it. Good Luck! If your contractions last 2-3 minuts and are any weres from 2-7 minuts apart go to the hospital. Like I said Good luck!

YES.

Those are contractions. If they form a pattern and have been going on for more than an hour, and don't stop if you lay down.

Definately call your doctor. YOUR IN LABOR!!

They'll probably want you to come in the to the office or the hospital just to see how far along you are.

PS: Don't wait until your throwing up - that's a sign of transitional labor. That's the final stage of labor. That's when I decided to go in and was already 7 cm.

Yes, normally you wouldn't call your doctor until the contractions are 5 min apart for more than 2 hours, or unless you're throwing up or having some other weird thing. Just try to relax, no use in going to the hospital if they are just going to send you home. Or keep you unnecessarily, when you don't really want to be there yet. Good luck to you!

Can you walk through your contractions? Are they steady and growing stronger? Then YES! You are most likely in labor! Call your Doctor IMMEDIATELY!

Wow, 40 weeks?
I couldn't stand being pregnant that long!
I went into labor at 39 weeks, and it happened like you described...
You lost your mucus plug because you're dilating so you could very well go into labor.
I'd go to the hospital if the contractions are that close.
I went into labor 10 minutes after losing my plug, and had my son after only 30 minutes !

Congrats!
