I have been on birth control since july 06. I only forgot to take the pill once and I took it right away the next morning. I was suppose to the on my period the last week of febuary, and was suppose to start the new pills this past sunday night. I didnt get my period and last month I only had extremly light period for a day. I took an EPT(error proof pregnanc test) It immideatly said negative. Once I saw that it was negative I went to my local pharmacy and started the new pack of pills. So Instead of starting the pack on sunday night I started it tuesday night. Could I still be pregnant?

no.i do not think you are pregnant. because1. with continuous use of birth control pills, the flow of blood becomes less and less with each period and at one time there is no blood at all. 2. you have taken the missed pill the very next morning. 3. EPT is negative- unlikely that you are pregnant
continue with the pack you have started and watch for the next period.

As long as you took two pills the next morning, the one you missed and the one for that day, you should be fine. There were times when I missed two days and your still fine as long as you double up on each day after to make up for it. If you miss more than that you have to be worried because then you can begin to produce an egg. I don't think you are pregnant, if you want to be extra sure go to the doctor and get a blood test done. There are many factors that can cause your period to be late, light, or not come at all (stress, weight gain or loss, illness, even the pill because there are many variations of birth control with different levels of hormones that affect everyone differently) so I would definitely see a doctor just to make sure that you are healthy. Also I would have waited the month out and used another form of contraceptive till the Sunday during or after my next period to begin the new pill pack just so that I was on a regular cycle. You will probably want to use backup birth control, since you began the pill pack out of cycle just to be on the extra careful side and once again I would talk to a doctor to make sure.

it is a very low chance you are pregnant. you were supposed to get your period the last week of february, it is currently just the begining of march. stress can make a period come later than it should, wait a couple more days.

also, you said you had an extremely light period that lasted one day last month. it could be a medical problem, you should go see a doctor, many birht control pills have side effects.

Could be pregnant..not likely, but possible..go to dr and have a blood test. If there is a possibility of pregnancy and keeping that pregnancy..you should stop taking the pills now.
POssible that stress has made you miss periods as well

birth control effects different ppl in different ways. read your pamphlet and speak to your doctor. during the first few months of taking bc, your body may be adjusting. now that you've been taking them for a short while, you may be one that does not have menstrual flows while others get extreme, some hair loss, weight gain..it's different. just try to be consistent and speak with your doctor.

Spotting doesn't affect the detection of hCG. I would go see a doctor and get a blood test done.
