The volcano database lists 83 known worldwide calderas:
http://volcanodb.com/search.php?type=Caldera
It's not clear how many of these are active as opposed to dormant, although I suspect most are dormant. A few may be extinct - but even so, at least you have a comprehensive list.
As far as which is the largest, that's not always easy to define. Calderas can be defined by the diameter of their crater or the volume of the structure contained by the caldera - shapes of calderas can vary. Yellowstone is probably one of the very largest in diameter, but the Mauna Loa caldera may be the largest in volume.

This Site Might Help You.
RE:
how many active Caldera's exist in the world? and where is the largest Caldera located at?
for those who don't know, a caldera is a volcanic feature formed by the collapse of a volcano into itself, making it a small, special form of volcanic crater.

Currently Boeing's Everett Factory is currently the world's largest, used to assemble a selection of the company's largest aircraft. This building is 13.3 million m³ (472 million cu ft) and covers 398,000 m² (98.3 acres) of land. But in future It would be the Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 at 16.1 million sq ft.

I am not sure how many are active, but the one everyone is watching is the Yellowstone caldera, which is very active. Some of the others are:
Aniakchak Caldera, Alaska
Crater Lake Caldera, Oregon
Hawaiian Calderas
Krakatau, Indonesia
Long Valley Caldera, California
Medicine Lake Caldera, California
Also, go to this site, it has a very comprehensive list by location and type:

Caldera or Super Volcanoes are the most destructive volcanoes known on earth. Eruptions are rare, however, but once happening it will be an extinction level event.
Check this out, tremendous site about any catastrophic events:

And here a link explaining extinction level events:

I surely hope you'll sleep well.....
