It is dripping drops from the right bottom. Somebody told me it could be the water pump and if it is do anybody have an idea how much does it cost to replace one?

Thanks

Most likely you have a worn water pump. With a replacement with coolant and maybe a hose you are looking at around $150-200 parts and labor. If you have more than 60,000 miles on this car and you never had the timing belt replaced, now would be a great time to replace this as well. because if the timing belt breaks, the entire engine shuts down with no warning. Internal engine damage is also a possibilty when the timing belt breaks too. the timing belt is located behind the water pump, so for a few more dollars you will have a piece of mind for another 5 years or longer depending on how often you drive to reach 60,000 miles again.
good luck........

To save money I would have it checked out. It may not be the water pump. Just because you see water in the same spot doesnt mean it comes from that area on the car. It could be a water hose dripping, or the radiator could have a tiny hole in it or it could be the water pump. They can hook the car up to a machine and find exactly were its coming from. You may get lucky and it could be something small like a hose.

at most NAPA centers, water pump and labor is about 2oo bucks
they will add coolant as needed and check for other possable leakes.
It is a good deal for some peice of mind
