I have only used the trimmer a few times and kept it in good shape with right oil mixture. Lately I couldn't start it anymore even though it is still very new. What is the problem with it and how to start it again?

check the spark plug, if the fuel mix is off a bit the plug could be fouled.

Leaving gas equipment sitting for long periods of time without fresh gas will cause the old gas to "gum" up as they say. It forms a varnish film that will block the minute passages in the fuel system and make it hard or impossible to start. You may need to take the unit to a lawn and garden power equipment service center to have the fuels system cleaned. Then use Sta-Bil in the fuel to keep the old gas from gumming up again.
