The best thing you can do is re-wash them. If you don't have time, dryer sheets can help. These are scented foam pads that will also soften the clothes and draw away lint, hair etc. They can be found in the laundry aisle of your supermarket. However, two days is quite a long time for your clothes to be sitting round wet and dryer sheets will probably not help much in this instance.

Bad idea, i did this just before christmas and the gloves not only shrunk but are now not waterproof. Maybe a low heat would make a difference.

Sugestion: get a couple of short (6" to 8") pieces of pipe stick them in you gloves and sit it in front of your forced air heat register or in front of a fan, so the air blows up the gloves. May dry them a little quicker

I've washed and dried my gore-tex jacket several times and it hasn't hurt it.

I wold read the washing instructions. In my exoerience you don't tumble dry Gore-tex. If you go to Millets you may find soe re-water proofing stuff though.

I would let them air dry to prevent shrinkage, also stuff them with some paper to keep shape.
