Build inbound links to your website.
Most of the directories online charge a one time fee to review your site and add it to their index. Here are three of my favorites:
http://www.avivadirectory.com/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=kahmer
http://www.kahmer.com
http://www.joeant.com
The more inbound links to your site, the better you will rank
with Yahoo / Google / MSN.
Also work on your meta tags. Here is an
article on how they work: http://www.richkahmer.com/meta-tags.html

You need to do a little work on your site first of all. It took an age to load up - most people would have moved on before it came to life.

You should also SEO the site, including getting quality links to it.
This will start to give you natural traffic.

Then start marketing your site using articles, list building and search engine listing.

A web site is a business and the real marketing ways take prolonged effort -just as in other businesses.

There are lots of ways to get free traffic to your site (including your link in you question above is a good start!)

I'm not a traffic expert myself, but I do own a few sites that consistently get solid traffic. I tried PPC (AdWords) but I don't spend much because I'm cheap and I'd rather focus on getting more free traffic.

I got a lot of good ideas from a report I read at the link below. I highly recommend it.

Small Business Marketing Strategy: Target the up-and-coming search engines

While Google still rules the roost when it comes to Internet search engines, and Yahoo is firmly entrenched in second spot, a number of new start-ups are hoping to give them a run for their money. And a good small business marketing strategy would be to check them out and see how you can make them work for your site!

Some of the new up-and-comers include:

Powerset (www.powerset.com): A "natural language" search engine

Hakia (www.hakia.com): A "meaning-based" search engine

Wikia(www.wikia.com): A "community-based" search engine

ChaCha(www.chacha.com): A "social networking-based" search engine

Snap (www.snap.com): A search engine that offers visual previews

It's a smart small business marketing strategy to continue optimizing for the Google, Yahoo, and MSN search engines as they are by far and away the most popular -- but niche search engines could provide new opportunities to reach your market. Be sure to check them out!

i have attended a lot of seminars, read counless books on forex trading and it all cost me thousands of dollars. the worst thing was i blew up my first account. after that i opened another account and the same thing happened again. i started to wonder why i couldn,t make any money in forex trading. at first i thought i knew everything about trading. finally i found that the main problem i have was i did not have the right mental in trading. as we know that psychology has great impact on our trading result. apart from psychology issue, there is another problem that we have to address. they are money management, market analysis, and entry/exit rules. to me money management is important in trading. i opened another account and start to trade profitably after i learnt from my past mistake. i don't trade emotionally anymore.
if you are serious about trading you need to address your weakness and try to fix it. no forex guru can make you Professional trader unless you want to learn from your mistake.

"If you build it, they will come" is not necessarily true on the Web. Putting a website up is one thing, but getting visitors to come to your site is another. The process becomes even more difficult if you have limited resources to market your business.

You can try pay per click programs such as Google Adwords http://www.google.com/adwords or Yahoo Search Marketing http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com – though the key is to carefully track your ROI and which keywords actually perform well

Here are some shoestring marketing ideas that can help you get the visitors you need at the least cost possible:

1. Create the best content you can with the best products you can possibly offer. Your content is your best advertisement - if visitors love your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.

2. Make it easy for users to recommend your site. Viral marketing is very important -- and easy to tap on the Web. But give your users the tools. Get a Recommend this Site script from websites such as cgiscripts.com and similar directories of scripts. Some even go as far as giving incentives to those who recommend the site to their friends. If only 10 people go to your site, but these 10 people invite 10 more - that's additional traffic that you get for FREE!

Recommend Site Scripts (various) http://php.resourceindex.com/Complete_Scripts/Website_Promotion/Recommend_Site/
Big Nose Bird Recommend this Site http://bignosebird.com/carchive/birdcast.shtml
CGI Resource Index http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/Website_Promotion/Recommend_Site/
Hostscripts http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Site_Recommendation/index.html

3. Rank well in the search engines (organic search results, not the pay per click). SEs can be a big source of traffic. The key is to create the best content in your niche. If you have good content, other websites will gladly link to you and offer your site as a resource to their audience. Check the on-page factors and be sure to get linked from authority sites in your topic area.

If you are going to read only one piece on search engine optimization, I suggest you read Brett Tabke of WebmasterWorld.com's "Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone: 26 steps to 15k a day." http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/2010.htm

4. Send out press releases. While outfits charge as much as $650 per release, there are free press release submission places on the Web. Press releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.

5. Submit articles. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

Here is a comprehensive list of where to submit your articles http://answers.yahoo.com/question/;_ylt=AhzreGmnCUicOoyedqypscUjzKIX?qid=1006022407481

6. Post a link to your site for free where it is allowed (always read the Terms of Use). Examples are:

Craigslist http://www.craigslist.com
Google Base http://base.google.com
Classifieds for Free http://www.classifiedsforfree.com/...
Text Link Exchange http://www.txtswap.com/
Recycler.com http://www.recycler.com/

Hi There,

First don't worry so much about getting lots of traffic, work on getting quality target people to your website! You are much better off with a 1000 targeted people coming to your website than 1 million that have no interest in your products.

Here at the http://www.marketingtips.com one of the most common questions we hear is: "What's the fastest way to make money on the Internet?"

People are looking for a shortcut, and I can't blame them. There's a mountain of information out there! How do you separate the good stuff from the hype? How do you decide what you need to know at what stage? How do you decide which strategies will work for your business?

A shortcut would be helpful. But to me a shortcut means cutting corners, which is no way to start or run a successful business.

In fact, the fastest way to build a business on the Internet is the step-by-step method that we've tested and seen working for our clients time and time again:

Find a niche market
Find a product to serve that market
Set up a great sales process
Optimize your site for the Search Engines
Create an Cost Effective PPC Campaign
Create backend products so you can KEEP selling to the same people!
But, the more I thought about it, the more I realized, there IS a shortcut — one that doesn't involve cutting corners.

And, as so often happens in life, the answer had been staring me in the face all along!

If you've been disappointed at the promises of cookie-cutter online business schemes, you may be wondering if it really IS possible to start a real business on the Internet. It is!!

If you've already got a business, you might be looking for a tune-up —some new strategies, extra motivation, or a look at the basics with fresh eyes. Learn the proper ways to market your business start back at step one and work your way up to reaching all your goals

Understand the basics to build a solid business, or revisit them to pump up an established business

Starting and growing a business on the Internet is like drinking from a fire hose. It's too much all at once! In fact, I've even been told that when I speak I tend to throw out a ton of information faster than people can write it down. (Hey, I don't want to leave anything out!)

But the most important thing is to get an understanding of the fundamentals. A "big picture" understanding is vital, because there are so many details and so many different areas where you could put your energy… and waste your time, if you don't know what you're doing!

For instance, I can't tell you how many times I've talked to people who have come to our workshops trying to find "the hot product to sell."

They're thinking, "If I have a hot product, it'll sell." Sounds reasonable, right?

But I can guarantee if they start their online business from that point, they'll likely fail. In Internet marketing, you start by locating a hungry market, THEN finding a product.

Mistakes like that are easy to make if you're in startup mode.

So if you're just starting, pay attention to the basics… like how to narrow your market to a particular niche and build your marketing plan around their wants and needs. These initial steps will guarantee a strong e-business... or several.

And if you already have a product?

Well, you STILL need to make sure you've defined the market you're selling to. Make sure you're using tools like Wordtracker to find specialized markets that you could sell to by looking at the "keywords" or search terms people use when they're searching online.

In fact, one of the most common things I find myself saying to the most experienced marketers I meet at our workshops is "Don't ignore the basics!"

And in the end, they usually have a "lightbulb" moment. They pick up on one key thing they've let slide and refocus on addressing the basics to get their site in tip-top shape.

My best advice to all online marketers is focus on one thing at a time, do it well, then go on to the next strategy. That way you won't get overwhelmed but you'll be sure to cover all the basics.

Don't try to reinvent the wheel... learn from other people's successes — and their mistakes!

First, make your order form dead-simple. Second, and more important, write every word on your website for your potential clients, not for you!

When you take lessons like this and learn from the mistakes other entrepreneurs have already had to deal with, you can save yourself a lot of pain!

Use your goals — and these tips! — to create an action plan

One thing I tell all my customers over and over is that to see ANY results you have to take ACTION. And a great way to inspire yourself to get moving is to create a solid action plan. Once you know what you need to take action on in your Internet business, it's much easier to DO it.

IIn fact, it's CRITICAL that you NARROW your focus.

Decide on three main goals you want to achieve with your business — three areas that you want to improve or get started on. If you go in with a plan, you'll find the three key areas where you can take action immediately with your business.

If you're just getting started with your online business, your critical areas might be:

Learning how to find a niche market and product to supply that market

Understanding how to write compelling salescopy and SEO/SEM

Building a website

Or maybe you've already mastered those areas, but you're just not getting the traffic numbers you need to really beef up your sales. If that's you, you could focus on:

Getting better rankings in the search engines

Generating more traffic

Learning the ins and outs of email marketing

Or maybe you're well established, but are looking for new ideas for your business. You might decide to focus on three advanced strategies:

Starting an affiliate program

Developing follow-up products

Discovering one new, little-known strategy to give you an edge on the competition

By narrowing your focus this way, you'll have a much clearer idea what you need to do.

And remember, you don't have to do everything all at once… or ever! Even implementing one or two of the most basic strategies can bring amazing results.

Take advantage of expert advice wherever you can!

Having a one-on-one conversation with an online marketing expert is an opportunity to get specific advice from someone who's already been there and done that, so they can tell you exactly what works — and what doesn't — based on their own real-life experience.

Peter Nobes — one of our clients — had a short conversation at a workshop with one of our expert mentors about his lack of success with Google AdWords, which places his ads on relevant sites.

Peter learned these key strategies:

Only use one keyword per ad
Place the keyword in the ad's title, its description, AND the displayed URL
He made a few tweaks to his ad — and saw results the same day!

In fact, he told us:

"I checked by daily sales tonight after getting home from the Vancouver workshop and registered my first sale. I jumped about 10 feet in the air! Your advice made an immediate difference, and I'm on my way.”

Hope that helps,
