T-Mobile Dash...any tips?

Hi Guys, my dash just arrived via UPS this morning...delivered to my job so I can't exactly sit here and entertain myself with it for now. Lol. Any advice for the new user? :) I should add that I am switching from the SK3 to the Dash. Also, can I keep the tmail I had on my sk3 on the Dash?

On my SK3 I was able to put up away messages on my IM's...I'm guessing it's a no-can-do with the Dash?
