Transferring Vinyl to CD. How do you remove surface noise??

Does anyone have any reccomendations for software to remove surface noises when transferring vinyl into the digital world? Any and all help would be appreciated, thanks.

I can't remember the name of the software that I use off the top of my head, but I bet if you went to your local software store, they could help you find what you are looking for. I'll get back to you when I find out what software I have...
