to spread condiments such as mayo or mustard. even peanut butter and jelly. i always used butter knives. my husband's family always uses spoons. just curious.

I use a knife but when I get to the bottom of the jar I usually get a spoon. Sometimes with jelly I use a spoon. It falls off the knife too much. But for the most part it's a knife.

I use the butter knife unless there aren't any clean then I use a spoon.

A spoon does a better job, imo, but I will use whichever there is more of... if there are more clean knives than spoons, a knife; if more spoons than knives, then a spoon.

mayo and mustard, and jelly use a spoon. peanut butter , use a butter knife. i don't know why, i just do. weird, huh? happy day:)

I always use a knife. For some reason if a knife is not available, I'll use a spoon. :)
