That's something which is super important to them. My brother was there for a couple of years. What was often commented to him was "You can have everything else, so long as we get football."

Most families in Brazil are poor, no money to support their children's University or even in High School, so kids instead of dreaming in becoming doctors or engineers, dream in becoming soccer players, that's within the reach of any kid, even the poor.
BTW- the miss understanding about Football , is because in some countries, like Portugal or Brazil, Soccer=Futebol, that has the the some phonetic as Football.
In Portugal we call Football=Futebol Americano (American Football)
What is odd to me, is that i´ve seen Football games, and most times they are using their hands, not their feet. See any contradiction here?

When they are kids they don't went to school and they have time to play and learn football.They are the kings of football.They did not lose any wc.

on the beach on the streets all barefoot.
so wen they touch the ball it will feel tender and soft. dats why nearly all of them have great touches.
