I believe some people like to aim at the best things in life all the time, and search for the ways to get them realised into an actual life of their own. But the fact is that there is nothing that can actually be found in the world of abstract realities; for instance, we can never fully comprehend the meanings of life, for example, and we cannot experience a state of prefect peacefulness either, and neither we can see a things of perfect beauty with our material eyes. But some of us do like to talk about these things consistently, in an attempt to know deeper meaningfulness of everything, to run repeated searches along the paths of ideal of life, or the abstract realities only partially realised in our life. Despite the fact that we never find what we philosophically conteplate and aim at, the life enhancing effect of such brooding are undeniable. I for example, really feel a sense of profund vlaue attached to what I already know and knwo anew, my realisation of the things of life gets clearer. I guess people who come here feel the same, and they find that they are better able to appreciate their lives, its purpose and reason in a wider scheme of things.
Philosophical contemplation of the abstract to me is like sitting in the presence of a candle and looking into its tiny flame, and also often upon things within its circle of light. I know I cannot touch the flame, and neither can I entirely posses things so lit up jsut by looking at them, but the experience I find very rewarding and fulfilling, as I know in much better ways how things exist in this world. This I believe gives me a better sense of my own self, my own existence and the purpose of my own being in this world; when I look at other things and think about them I eventually find my own self there as I find it here. The only difference is the circle of my knowledge, understanding and perception has now increased many folds, and my sense of value about things of life raised.

Because some people wished to create standards, models, of living.
The best philosophy is the one that it is proven that works - produces invariable results, and that produces those results for everybody no matter under which circumstances people are.
