Is black ameriacans better than ameriacans in basketball?

Have a look in the NBA most of the great players are black. but they are all americans too.

for some strange reason i feel the need to shed some light in the direction of this young man who offers this question. first of all, are you asking are black people better than white in basketball? or is it just americans? you have to be more clear with your words. second...why would you even ask? has someone been teasing you? are you falling for the stereotypes that you hear? i mean why does it even matter? the answer is no. basketball as a sport is embraced very much so in black communities. therefore there is naturally going to be a high number of us who excel at it. Larry Bird was one of the best ever, but he certainly wasn't Black...neither was Pistol Pete or Jerry West. If you apply yourself and put in the necessary work, you can be good. period. if you grow up playing ping pong, you're probably gonna be pretty doggone good by time you reach adulthood....right? just something to think about.

Not naturally, no.
Basketball is now more popular in the Black community than in years past. More of them now play as kids, so there are now relatively more Black players in the pros.
This is as opposed to professional baseball where the relative number of Blacks has declined.

Better than Americans? Maybe, but not better than Europeans/Foreigners. Nowitzki, Nash, Gasol, Yao, etc. those are the greats right now in the league.

to be honest black youths growning up idolize basketball and football player more than anything else, just like hispanics idolize baseball player. i dont think it has anything to do with race it just simple but who we idolize and follow people of our own race. may it be for the good or bad.secondly for some reason majority or white dont pan out in the nba so white basketball have had few players in the past to watch and c how played. so some wat race do play a factor

yes you are being really racist right now. Look in the NBA Nash 2 times MVP and Dirk has the best record in the league. College basketball has 60 percent white players, they just want to go and continue on their education. One more thing you can not spell BRO!

I think black americans are hard workers and practice. But you still got Steve Nash, Dirk, mike bibby, jason kidd, and Vince Carter may as well be white I mean look at him.

It all comes down to how much you practice. Some people do have a natural talent, but others can be just as good if they work at it.
