Someone recently asked a question about whether suicide was selfish and they got HEAPS of answers. I think you need to ask a question that people are very opinionated and passionate about and hasn't been asked too often. Also, something open-ended bc then you'll just get 40 one word answers anyway.

Something really simple, like Daddy or Chips? - then people can answer honestly and quickly grab their 2 points....
If you ask something anti-theist in 'Religion & Spritituality' then you'll get a boat load of answers, but the same number of reports...

The most answers I've gotten on a question was 52, for "Do you smoke". (I do.)
It depends on how many people are answering at the time. Sometimes I've asked questions that I thought were brilliant and clever, and only recieved 2 or 3 responses.
Just don't ask, "Could I be pregnant?", or "Does she like me?".

Ask a question about Christians, atheists, racism, what is your favorite ______ usually gets lots of responses. Controversial questions are best and it also depends on the time of day you ask the question! Good Luck!

just about any juvenile question you ask after 4:00 EST, when all the school kids are on here will work. however, this one is doing nicely. good luck... just a few more!

You have to ask something that makes people want to jump in and voice their opinion. Like ask them if they like oatmeal cookies better than chocolate chip, or ask if they like cats better than dogs. Hit them in their emotional centers and they'll come out of the woodwork.
