because it was the one jolly happy love song that always made me realise what I had when we were arguing about something stupid and it always made me smile inside and out and then go make things right

So are there so many reasons why I've elected this song to favourite status. First, the song is by New Edition. New Edition served to redefine R&B for the new generation of teens and tweens that emerged after the Jackson 5 era. Secondly, the song is a beautiful song about a relationship that has faded to the point that it no longer exists. The song conveys the message of heartbreak resulting from the loss of trust in a relationship Thirdly, the song is from their reunion album of 1996, Home Again. This song proved that comebacks were pausible. As well, the video for this song was elequently shot and accurately depicted the story of the song. Thus, this song is a favourite in my books because its an apologitic song where love is forced to the ultimate tests, trust and time. It is a highly emotive song.

I love this song because of the lyrics. Not only that, I love the song because it pertains to the next step of love--marriage. I'm getting married July 7, 2007, and "Here and Now" will be my entrance song!!

God Bless The Broken Road--because it explains how it took me a long lonely time to meet my husband, and now that we're married I am so happy and fulfilled. I never thought I would ever find the person I was looking for, but he's all I wanted and more and I know God brought us together because chances are so slim...we met on Match.com and it was love at first sight. We have a little girl now, and the wonderful life I always wanted.
