No, I believe that everything happened for a reason.
My husband and I are 9 years apart (he's 30 in September, I am 21 in August).
He was once married before (s l u t !) .
But me and him met at least 4 times in the past and didn't realize it untill we were talking about our pasts, and they matched up.
The same park we used to go to, the same video store, even the same mutual friends.
Then in my sophmore year, I skipped school with my mom to take my permit test. I flunked, and went next door to Dollar General for chocolate.
There was a job opening there, and I half-jokingly applied.
I got the job, and we started on the same day.
He ignored me at first, but Boss kept sticking us together, so we got to talking and that's when we realized we'd met before.
We became friends, he fell in love with me, told me (in front of a LOT of people).
I said "no" I didn't feel the same way,and we stayed just as friends .
But, like in the movie When Harry Met Sally I realized I felt the same way.
He's been picking me up from school and taking me home, and I do my homework then we sit together in my room and we watch movies.
I kissed him, accidentally (..sort of) and well, now, 1 1/2 years later, we're married!
(I've known him forever, and we'd been together for 3 years, not counting the 3 months we've been married).
And oh yeah, we have a son, 2 months old together !

No. Because I always keep one of John Lennon's quotes in mind. "Life is what happens while you're making other plans." You can't possibly prepare for every type of scenario.
