I don't remember him telling me a lie when I was in the Army from September 11th to 2004. Bush used the CIA information that's who lied to you. The only thing Bush did wrong was trust the CIA without remembering their past history in the 70's.

He did lie by omitting information provided to him by the CIA that Iraq did NOT have the capability to purchase uranium yellow cake. He was told by George Tenet to take if out of his speech in 2002, which he did but then his speechwriters put it back in when he was trying to gin up more support for this war or choice- Iraq.

He said there were missiles that could reach the US in 45 minutes- LIE None have been found to date
Bush and Darth Cheney constantly linked Saddam Hussein and 9/11- LIE. All of their nuanced speeches ,which were as subtle as a sledge hammer, containing comments about Saddam and 9/11 have to be taken with a grain of salt especially since Bush finally admitted that Saddam had NOTHING to do with 9/11. Not surprisingly, 4 days later, Cheney was on the talk show circuit saying Saddam had something to do with 9/11. I almost got whiplash.

Bush said he would hunt for Bin Laden and wanted him dead or alive. LIE- Less than 6 months later he said he did not think about him or care where he was. Also on his orders, the CIA search team that had been in place to hunt for the bastard was disbanded in 2006.

He said he would support the troops and that they would have whatever they needed- LIE. He submitted to his Republican controlled House of Representatives a budget which he knew they would rubber stamp. There had not been a spending bill he did not like. They voted in the 2004 budget to cut funding for veteran's health care and benefit programs by nearly $25 billion over the next ten years. It narrowly passed by a vote along party lines of 215 to 212, and came just a day after Congress passed a resolution to "Support Our Troops." How exactly did this vote support our troops? Did leaving our current and future veterans veterans without access to health care and compensation qualify as supporting them?

Already in his proprosed 2009, he planned on cutting VA funding yet again so he could balance the budget and justify the tax cuts he provided to his rich cronies.
Don't be mad at George G. who said he was in the armed forces until 2004. He does not know any better. There are still people in this country who would swear on a stack of bibles that Iraq had something to do with 9/11.He listened to the brainwashing artists that abounded on the Armed Services Network- the Rush Limbaughs, Glen Becks and Sean Hannity's of the world.
Someone who would have provided facts instead of the talking points memos that are sent to the right wing radio shills, Ed Schultz, was denied access to the Armed Services Network for 2 years and just finally got on the air last year.

Your logic would make better sense this way as it is being interpreted incorrectly.
Libby guilt+Cheny CIA leak+Bush WMD Lie= Wasted troop lives for Hallibuton profits.
Instead of paying private security companies anywhere from 8-10 times what they pay our men and women in uniform performing the same job, they should have taken the extra money and provided them with body armor and armored vehicles
