No, no one has done this. Magic Johnson won the NCAA title in his sophomore year, then won the NBA title in his rookie year. These were consecutive years, and only 3 others have done this (Bill Russell, Henry Bibby, and Billy Thompson). Up until the mid 70's, freshman couldn't play on varsity teams, so Lew Alcindor would not be correct.

I don't know that's a hard one. It's wasn't Kareem he didn't win the NBA championship until 1971 and he was drafted in 1969. Also when he played college basketball as a freshman, back then freshmen weren't allowed to to compete for the varsity team. So he didn't win his first NCAA Championship until he was a sophomore. Of course, he went on to win as a junior and a senior.

Just a guess, but I'd say that Lew Alcindor (aka Kareem Abdul Jabbar) might have done that.
