Let them sleep for the first day to catch up with sleep but do put the baby down for the night as close as possible to the baby's normal bed time. The following day try and resume the regular daily routine according to the new time if it changes.

Best of luck and I hope your baby adjusts very well!

Let them sleep. It is difficult enough for adults to overcome jet lag and a baby has no idea what is happening. Give baby a few days before resuming normal routines. Afraid you are going to have 2 sets of jet lag to deal with until that happens.

I took my baby girl to Jamaica when she was two months and not really in a routine. She got into a established routine while we were there. When we came back to UK 5 months later she went to bed still on Jamaican time for a few weeks(11pmuk) She is now in 8pm routine but we are going back to Jamaica soon.

i live in the states and i took my daughter back to the uk to meet her grandparents when she was 3 months old i just let her sleep when she wanted to and eat when she wanted to. eventually after 2-3 days she adjusted herself. It was the same coming back over to the states. she eventually adjusted back to her old routine.
