If you are wanting a natural growing privacy fence .....Try Privet hedges. I planted 150 along a fence line to hide my neighbors ugly storage sheds...They are very fast growing. Maintenance is pruning 1 or twice a year, otherwise they will grow to 12 feet high. They have small white flowers growing profusely in the spring and they turn into berries that the birds eat in the winter. Below is a link for online catalog...they have the most reasonable prices for purchases. They plants will look like sticks when they arrive ...Trust Me ...They grow Fast. Make sure you have a hedge trimmer. You can also order a catalog. Enjoy the search! Good luck

Try redtwig dogwood plantings. They give great coverage and in winter provide color. I would plant an upright holly or cypress at either end and the center to off-set the plantings. It would be both wonderful but different.

We used a reed fence to fill in and create privacy. It looks more natural.
Also, you can try any climbing roses, or other flowering vines on a trellis.

arborvitae. they're an evergreen shrub that can be planted close together and grow round and strait up, with a pointed top, without pruning. and a nursery should have them available in sizes that are large enough to give you instant privacy.

I once had Oleanders in my yard. They grew tall and round and fast. I wanted them short, but they grew so fast! They had beautiful blossoms. Here in Houston they stay green all year. Lots of privacy behind those babies.
