why do people that have sex with the same gender have political rights ? is sex really a political issue or a moral one ?

The US Supreme Court has said that sodomy is a constitutionally-protected right.
One shudders to think what other practices will be so enshrined in our jurisprudence next.

It should be neither a political or moral issue if all people are equal.
Unfortunately the religious fascists that have over run the country do not accept that all people are equal and have made it a political issue.
Moral issues are nothing but a baseball bat that the religious fascists beat over the heads of people that do not follow their narrow point of view.
