Your repairations should be getting to live in a free society without the strife and hardship that is affecting your brothers you were seperated from back in Africa. Seriously look at life in any city in the US for blacks and other minorities and then compare them to the society that you would be in had the Portugese not drug you over the pond. You could be living in some tribal village, diamond mining camp, or a slum in the congo. Count your blessings and be thankful that your ancestors went through the hardships so that you can enjoy your life now. Praise be to slave owners for providing a new life to our African-American brothers by providing a reason for their import into our country.

Blessings come in all shapes and sizes you just gotta look at the whole picture and accept what you got and forgive the pain and suffering of your ancestors for the comforts you receive today.

Never, because they claimed America can't afford it.

Native Americans get "reparations" $2,000 a month to be exact. Do most people consider this a hand out?

If anything America should at least give the 40 acres and a mule to the Blacks since it was promised, or like compensation at the very least. To keep it from being "too costly" they should limit it to those who are either full blooded black or half.

But that won't happen.

I have Indian blood - when do I get my land back? Get a grip and stop looking for handouts. Your ancestors may have been brought here under horrible circumstances and treated like animals, but this made it possible for you to be born in a land where your hard work can actually pay off. Would you rather have been born in Africa? Homeless and poor here are nothing compared to the poverty others in the world are accustomed to. So stop your whining and and be realistic - your ancestors got a raw deal BUT YOU DIDN'T!

I think it is crazy to cut every black man a check in America. Although I do believe in reparations I think we should go after big companies such as insurance companies who insured them and benefited. I believe the money should be dispersed in to economically challenged black communities and schools that are predominately black. Also, the money should be used to set up scholarships or a grant should be given to every black child immediately upon entering college and it should increase each year. We do deserve something for those who want to act like the government is doing so much stop fooling you damn selves look around you assholes why are there still so many economic disparities between blacks and their white couterparts open your eyes we aren't all equal just yet. Slavery effected my people greatly.

Never. It's just a silly trip some goobers are on. Blacks will get theirs when God comes to do it, probably.

Stop asking for handouts! Anybody that wants something for nothing is a loser and it has nothing to do with race, so DON'T EVEN call me a racist!
