If you don't like a lot of traffic, I would avoid Friday afternoons. A lot of people leave work early to travel home after a week away at work....or to try to avoid the rush hour if they are going away for a weekend.
Choose Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday if you can. Even Monday is better than Friday afternoon.

I reckon thats quite a good time, most people will be at work and Friday is fairly quiet on the roads, avoid the rush hour between 8-9am and 4-6pm. Good Luck!

The best time is the 11am slot (11.40 is it?) and the 2.30pm slot. this is when there is the least amount of traffic on the roads. the early morning and later afternoon times are filled with school run cars.

They'll be a lot of traffic on the road at that time so you won't have to do much driving - you'll be stuck in a traffic jam with any luck!

I would say not good.
All the manual workers rushing around trying to get to the pub and buy the first round.

i would say early when they first open...less traffic
