It is quite a lot - but if you download video (upto 7gig per movie) and makes lots of IP calls then you'll soon eat that up.

Sky's 'cheap/almost free' broadband is capped at 3gig, so if you compare it to that, 40 is loads.

I work from home and regularly download over 500meg per day so for me 40gig is a must.
