it seems like people as a whole have compleately lost their natural instints and are becoming compleately out of touch with nature, and with other animals. i mean, what other species destroys their own habitat on such a large scale (global warming, cutting down forests, ect.) when did this start happening? what went wrong??

Its been going on since we went from village to city. The fact is that most of the time man's religion has been in odds with man's environment. Of course those clever native americans did a good job. Then there was the chinese that did a damn good job too... but it hasn't ever been perfect. In our defense thou this is the frist time we've accepted that praying for a better world isn't going to work.. we have to get off our own lazy behinds and do something about it. It hasn't always been that clear for man. So relax the first step to fixing anything is accepting there is a problem and look we are! Now if we can just get together on a solution....
