I wore a sleeveless top this morning in my school, and I forgot that we weren't allowed to wear any revealing outfits including sleeveless, mini skirts, low rise jeans, hanging shirts and the like. My school is a catholic school thats why very conservative. By the way my school ID was confiscated and the only way for me to retrieve it is to give an excuse letter/ apology letter. but the thing is im not good at that. I need a formal letter though. So can anybody help me with this? tnx in advance!

Dear Head Master/ Principal/ Teacher,

Due to a complete oversight and forgetfulness, I allowed myself to wear a sleeveless blouse this morning. Knowing full well that this is certainly against the dress code for the school, I am willing to take any punishment that you may deem appropriate, for my total lack of respect for the rules.
I would like to apologize for this incident, and promise not to let it happen again in the future.

My sincerest apologies,

Assuming you have not infringed the dress code before, just be remorseful and apologetic.

--date of letter--
Dear --who to--,
I am sorry for wearing a sleeveless top to school, which was contrary to the school rules.
I am fully aware of the rules about what I am permitted to wear for school and this was a genuine mistake.
I assure you I will not infringe the dress code again.
Yours sincerely,
--you--

Check all your spelling and grammar.
If you have breached the dress code before then you may have of think of something better.
And make sure you don't do it again. It's not worth it.
Hope this helps.

I am sorry I was inconsiderate in not obeying the rules of the school. I will not do this again and will review the rules each morning before school in order to insure I am dressed properly and up to code.

Go to your word program on the computer and go to file new & get the letter template. It's quite simple and just address the principal or whom ever it is that your letter has to go to then just express your apology from the heart. Also, look on the link below for guidance. Good luck!
