If your newspaper on Wednesday shows grocery store sales use them, or take them to Wal Mart they will take the sale paper and charge you the exact price that the sale paper says. Also clip those coupons, but only on things you already use. Coupon clipping may sound silly, but it usually pays for the taxes on the groceries.

look into a program called Angel Food Ministries.
It's government subsidized and usually done through churches.
The only thing is, it's only done once a month and you have to buy your groceries by the package. (The main package is $25 and then there are add-on packages for $18) Honestly though, they give you so much in each package, one regular package will feed two people for a month.
see menu for this month:
(1) 26 oz. Chicken & Stuffing Bake Dinner
(4) 8 oz. Hamburger Steaks
(1) 2 lb. Lasagna Dinner
(1) 5 lb. Breaded Frying Chicken
(1) 12 oz. Philly Steak Portions
(1) 3 lb. Popcorn Chicken
(1) 1 lb. Hot Dogs
(1) 16 oz. Gourmet Bean Soup
(1) 7.5 oz. Mac & Cheese
(1) 7.5 oz. Southern Style Biscuit Mix
(1) 24 oz. Steak Cut Fries
(1) 16 oz. Peas & Carrots
(1) 16 oz. Turnip Greens
(1) 15 oz. Sliced Pears
(1) 8 oz. Pineapple Chunks
(1) 10 oz. Peanut Butter
(1) 13.75 oz. 10 ct. Waffles
(1) Dessert Item
ALL THIS FOR THE LOW COST OF JUST $25.00*
* taxes may apply in some states

There are websites that have grocery coupons. Some cost money, and some are free. WalMart has good grocery prices. It is cheaper and healthier to buy chicken thighs, pork chops, rice, beans, etc... than it is buying processed foods.
This has a link that shows stores that double coupons:

one in each of my favourite food is a field of Zatarains grimy rice, a a million/2 pound of fatty floor purple meat (drain after cooking), tortillas, and cheese. A 5 pound roll of 70/30 floor purple meat is approximately $12, and in case you element it up in 8 oz. applications, you will need 10 pkgs for a month. i've got got here upon that i do no longer likely pick an entire pound in maximum issues. Hamburger Helper is mostly a low priced weeknight dinner, you will get those at a Wal-Mart or great Wal-Mart for extra or less $2. A bag of Safeway type salad combination is $3.50 whilst it particularly is on sale. in case you pick ice cream as a uncommon cope with, Haagen Daaz makes a single serving cup it is in simple terms $a million. right this is my selfmade Hamburger Helper recipe: a million field Velveeta shell & cheese (approximately $2 at Wal-Mart) a million/2 pound floor purple meat a million packet taco seasoning (I make my own) a million little can of Ortega hearth-roasted chopped green chiles Fry up the burger with the taco seasoning and chiles, and drain the fat. Make the mac & cheese. combine!
