It all depends but look and see if there is some sort of split and you could jam a thin piece of wood in there then tighten all screws.Talcon powder is also good.

sounds to me like you need rubber washers I bet there aren't any washers on the bolts go to lowes and get some rubber washers and some of the chair paddings for under the bed legs that should lower the creaking and go easy on her you animal you
