You don't know him, but I wish you did. I want to give a shout out to my chief of surgery when I was a resident - Dr. LaSalle LeFall. He is retiring this year after 50 years in the operating room. I want the world to know that he will be remembered in the hearts and minds of all the patients, students & residents who were fortunate enough to know him. Those of us who studied at your feet will remember you as much for your professionalism, integrity & honesty as for your technical proficiency. I hope you are kicking back in a chair reading this.
