A few days after my period ended Me and my husband had an accident , in which his condom completely broke and neither of us noticed until after............ I heard that you can only get pregnant while you are ovulating since this happened right after my period can I still get pregnant ??

Yes, you could be. You can ovulate at any time during the month, not just "14 days after your period." That's just an average, but all women are different. So, if you were ovulating then, you could be pregnant.

Yes you could be. The general thing is you ovulate 14 days before your next cycle if you have a 28 day cycle. But to put that to everyone is just silly! Everyone is different. All women have different length cycles and not all women ovulate at mid-cycle. So unless you know when you ovulate in your cycle you could still be at risk of pregnancy. Just pop out and get a hpt to put your mind at rest. But you cannot rely on a negative result until your next period is due anyway as sometimes a positive result will not be picked up until after this time. So even if you got a negative before, it may just be because the pregnancy was undetectable at that time.

You're partly right. Conception only occurs at ovulation, BUT sperm can survive for up to 5 days. If you have an average cycle, it's not too likely that you would be pregnant, but there is always a possibility, especially if you have short cycles.

usually not usually 7 2 10 days after you only ovelate once so dont worry
