I do. Don't get me wrong, sometimes on the weekends I go out with the boys, get drunk, cause a ruckus, all that fun stuff. Most of times though, I'll have a glass of wine or two before dinner, or I'll have a gin and tonic in the late evening while sitting on my porch.

I think it all depends. Sometimes i just have a beer or two or a glass of wine at night to relax or with dinner....then sometimes i get together with the crew and we go out to party all night, and knowingly get drunk. But I personally think that if someone goes out all the time specifically to drink and get drunk, then you probably have a problem...

Yes, indeed. My uncle, who had to stop inviting several Teutons to his parties, drinks never more than max three glasses. Here I will try to translate what He has often declared about the drinking of alcohol:
First glass is the wise man's glass, wise cheerful commendable behavior; subsequent second glass is the monkey's glass and simian and disorderly behavior may ensue; subsequent, subsequent third glass is the pig's glass, and dirty drunken behavior no surprise.

Of course. I, and most of my friends enjoy wine with dinner, and a glass of wine or a beer here and there, and I never want to get drunk. I enjoy a little, but not too much.

I use to do that all the time but it never worked. And now I havent picked up a drink in 6 years.

yes, alcoholics since they drink so much they can't function without it and are so used to it they hardly get drunk

That would be me, sorry. The thought of being hung over is a good deterrent for me. I hate to be stuck in the bathroom, hugging the porcelain god!
