There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Hi, have you tried just soaking some camomile tea bags and laying them for 15 minutes on your closed eyes?
Another tip that I've come across is to put 2 teaspoons in the freezer (make sure that they are really dry when you put them in) & that your skin is dry when you take them out. Place the round part of the teaspoons against your dark circles (laying down of course).
A few companies have a great coverage stick, and if you use this sparingly, you'll be able to cover up the black circles until you find a long lasting solution. & Overall though, you should be aware that some ppl are simply prone to them.

I am a beauty consultant and recommend you try the Mary Kay Concealer which comes in fair/beige/light bronze or bronze. It also comes in yellow if your circles are really dark and hard to cover. Yellow is good for any skin tone. Next, on top of the Concealer, try the Mary Kay highlighing pen. This highlighting pen is FABULOUS. Circles are caused by light absorption in the crease above the cheekbone. The highlighting pen allows the light to be deflected. If you are interested to know more, look for them on my website: www.marykay.com/micheleyaniz or you can email me at micheleyaniz@marykay.com. If you decide to purchase them, I will ship them to you with no shipping costs and if you don't like them, return them to me for a full refund. Good luck!

I like Origins products. You can get them at www.origins.com. It's a high end cosmetic, but, they all work. They make something called 'No Puffery' for the eyes which works very well!

Your not getting enough rest and you are low on iron.
Get vitamins with iron and a little more sleep.
You lose iron when you have a monthly period and need to replace it.
