the heater and the dipped lights went at the same time so i thiught it must be a fuse, however after checking and replacing most of them i still have no dip and no heater,i bought new fuses for the relays too but this solved nothing, could both dip bulbs go together?at the same time? i cant see it and with the heater going at the same time i obviously thought of fuses...any ideas?

Have you had the double filament bulbs tested? Often the cause though they don't both go out usually.

get a wiring diagram or a haynes manual. if both faulty items utilise the same relay suspect the relay. if you have another identical one try substitution or get a s/h one from a breakers.
