Most do. The reason why some get pregnant is because they are looking for love and someone to love them. Therefore, they are hoping this is what the baby has to offer.

I can't speak for myself because I never got pregnant as a teen. My mother on the other hand became pregnant at 15 with my sister. Then I came 11 months later and it didn't stop there. My mom has 5 kids biologically and 1 adopted. She doesn't regret any of her children but she does say she wish she would've waited a bit so she could do better by us. My mother was very lucky though, she and my father will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary this Dec. My parents got married at 15 and 16 and are the best parents ever. Now they are about to be 1st time grandparents from their first 3 oldest kids, my sister who is 28, me at 27, and my brothers wife at 31. Our kids get the pleasure of having their grandparents around for a long time since they are only 45 and 46 years old. My parents are so happy about the new editions and I think regret is the farthest thing on their mind. We were never on welfare and my folks worked very hard to support all of their kids btw.

I don't know that actual percentage, but I was a young mom at 17. I know that at times I regret having made the choice to not protect myself at such a delicate age but I would never regret having my daughter, it would just feel wrong to me. I have had a tough time... not being able to sleep some nights when she was still a baby and having school in the morning. Not being able to go out with friends whenever I wanted was hard too. Thank god my parents were helpful or i don't know what i would have done. I have 3 more kids now and look back on the experience and see that it really made me stronger. I am sure there are a lot of things that teen parents regret but also a lot of things they will learn to cherish and love about their journey as moms/dads
