It's old news. The BBC did a show in it 16 YEARS ago. There are enough scientists who don't believe it to be Jesus' tomb that it's hardly worth mentioning anymore. Just because some famous US director decides to do a documentary on it you think everyone should believe him over numerous world scientists?

Well I would not say they were ignoring it. Have they been focusing on it with the same zeal as the Anna Nicole Smith story? Absolutely not. But remember a couple of things. As another answerer put it, this is nothing new. I believe the discovery was made over 20 years ago and the BBC did a documentary on it. All that this did was rehash that same documentary and stamp James Cameron's name on it. Keep in mind too that the guy working with James Cameron was the same director of a documentary showing that an Ostuary containing the bones of Jesus' brother James was found. He wasn't misleading anyone intentionally, but the story turned out to be a hoax, and if I'm not mistaken there was a second documentary explaining how the hoaxer did it.
Finally, remember that the ANS story was on going, with developmens every other minute. She died. How did she die. No it wasn't that way, we won't know for a few days. Who gets the daughter. Who gets to bury her. Ooops no I'm appealing that judge's ruling and the most recent is the father of ANS's son, the one who died shortly after her daughter was born, is now trying to lay claim to the body and bury it some place of his choosing. It's obscene. But anyway that's the story.

Follow the money. A multi-billion dollar operation dependent on a fable will shut down a mulit-million dollar operation searching for news every time. Honestly how little did you hear about the Shroud of Turin? Have you seen the minuscule pieces of material reported to be the books of the Bible (Dead Sea Scrolls)? You will never, I repeat never, get a clear picture of what happens in any religion. If the truth ever escaped half of society would collapse. Can't you hear the silence of collection plates if Christianity was actually circling the bowl. All you would hear is a flushing sound accompanied by rustling noises as millions of ministers and priests run helter skelter looking for real work.
Some believe politicians control the media, I invite you to investigate the church's influence. I guarantee you, they have their hands on some of it as well.

I think that the media is ran on these fake people that we wish to be like. Not all of us though. But some people do. That is what is going on. The world has changed. We live our lives through these stars. Which is sick and immature.
The media is probally ignoring this man because they do not want to start contriversy. I mean. Im Catholic but I do believe the whole Da Vinci Code thing and that really could have been Jesus in there.
Our world is ran by a bunch of people who focus their time and energy on the death of some crazy woman and do not focus enough on where we came from, how we came to be.
I don't know. This world is weird and so are the people in it.

The truth is coming out about it.
This claim as been done before and been discredited.
The science behind the "discovery" is being question and more questions ask the shaker the claim is getting.

Because its so naive. If that would be true, than it would be the discovery of biggest delusion in history. And do you believe that creators of such delusion would leave such obvious evidence to disprove it???
