I left my husband after nearly 30 yrs of marriage. There was so much mental abuse in the marriage that it took me nearly 2 years to be able to walk down the road with my head held high. I am now divorced and I thought I would feel like celebrating, but, when it came through I felt a sense of failure on my part as I thought marriage was for ever. I now have met a wonderful man who accepts me for who I am and treats me with respect and equality. Neither of us will get married as he was in 2 abusive relationships. If you want to celebrate hun get together with some of your pals and have a night out. Good luck to you in the future and remember there are decent men out there. x

If you real think you need to celebrate there is a lot you can do for yourself. You can start spoiling yourself like buying yourself flowers, eating out, taking up a hobby that will be stimulating. Generally all you gotta do is enjoy your life with care of course not through damaging activities and not wait for anyone to do it for you. To just be you and do what you want to do, when you want to do it.

Treat yourself to a holiday at a spa resort, loads of 'you' time to pamper and relax and build your relationship with yourself again. Also will give you time to think about what you want from your life. The rest of your life has just started, I wish you all the very best x

Enjoy time spent by yourself and with the company of some of your closest friends-don't go out there looking to jump back in a relationship-you need to learn to love yourself first before you can love someone else. Treat yourself to some good times and in time you'll find someone special that'll treat you right.

Sit back, take a deep breath and just wait until a good idea hits me and then I'd go do it. Life is too short to be unhappy.
