Atoms are made of protons and neutrons in the nucleus and electrons in th energy levels(orbits surrounding the nucleus)

Atoms are made of Protons, Neutrons & Electrons.

Protons and Neutrons exist together in a large mass at the centre of the atom called the Nucleus.

Electrons form a cloud around the outside of the Nucleus at varying distances away.

Protons and Neutrons themselves are thought to be made up of Quarks (of which there are 6 types.)

Quarks are thought to be fundamental particles and only exist in pairs or triplets.

Electrons are fundamental in their own right (they are ~1870 times smaller in mass than Protons and Neutrons, but have an equal and opposit charge to the Proton.) Electrons belong to the group known as leptons.

Atoms are made of these subatomic parts: electrons, protons and neutrons. Protons and Nucleons are the nucleus (core). Electrons are a 'cloud' around this nucleus. Protons are positive charged particles, electrons are negative charged particles. All this together is an atom.

Each atom is made of nucleus which contains proton(s) and neutron(s), and electron(s) outside of the nucleus. Hydrogen atom (H-1) does not have neutron.

atoms are made of three things protons which are postively charged neutrons which have no charge. These two are bond together in the nucleus with electrons (which are postively charged) orbiting around them in electron rings known as orbitals

ATOMS ARE SMALLEST UNIT OF A THING.THEY ARE MADE UP OF PROTONS,NEUTRONS&ELECTRONS.IN ATOMS PROTONS ARE +IVE & ELECTRONS ARE -IVE,WHICH MAKES THE ATOM ELECTRICALLY NEUTRAL.
