If you're really worried, check for these telltale signs:

A graph with the days of the month marked CD1, CD2, etc... She won't be talking about music. It's actually a secret code for "cycle day".
Temperatures (also marked on the chart)
Markings like EWCM (a secret code for women only :-P)
