Is anyone else completely cheesed off with Wanadoo Broadband service ever since Orange took over? The network keeps on slowing down and disconnecting. Can anyone recommend a decent service for around £17.99 and is wireless?

Try madasafish, been with them for 6 months and no problems whatsoever, first 6 months cheaper then you go up to full price (still good value) wireless is no extra cost. I'm on 6meg download speed and it's good enough for everyday use.

Just moved from Wanadoo/Orange to Sky. £10 per month wireless, unlimited, speed 16mb. Things are good so far after a month. Orange are useless. It took them over a month to cancel my service. When you cancel your service, make sure you chase them up all the time. Don't just leave it the 10 days they say. Chase them up after 2/3 days. Then, once they say the've done all the need to do, chase BT (or your phone line provider). BT sat on it for 7 days too. Was nearly pulling my hair out by the time we got Sky Broadband.

Not quite but I was with that company for about three years and you are right, they are a proper shower. I am now on Vodaphone for £30 a month. 'Ah!' I hear you exclaim, 'that is more than I'm paying now.' Sure, it is but, I get all my land line calls and calls to my family members on my mobile included. Puts that into perspective perhaps and I've had no breakdowns in three weeks, so far. Tempting fate? I hope not but what I can tell you is that the Help desk is far more communicative and understandable that the stock reply I used to get 'There's an outage'.
Does that phrase ring a bell?

Try Tiscali. Cheaper than the price you quote and I have no problem with them. Not sure about wireless though.
