Oh the memories, lol basically your pregnant your getting larger and your body needs to adjust. I agree that you are contracting if they are irregular and random its probably the braxton hicks.. if they are timed and fast with pain then call your doctor. but i really think that you pubic area is just bothered by the extra weight. and as for as getting round try and put your feet up and relax a little longer then usual.
Good Luck

The tummy tightening is most likely Braxton Hicks contractions and is completely normal. The pains are either baby moving around or your body adjusting to baby's growth.

I told my doctor about it and he didnt seem worried or anything

I'm really not sure but my guess is braxton hicks contractions. Those don't normally hurt though so I think you should ask your doctor or call a nurse hotline for advice.

Well you are going though your uterus getting larger. The pains are your uterus contracting. Welcome to what you will feel when your real labor starts. If you are concerned call your DR. Your Dr will be able to tell you what you are going though and if you need help. Remember that no one on here can truely tell you what is happening to your body we can suggest what happens. :) Good luck. and congrads
