Hey, I am not dirty nor common.

I can understand where you are coming from though. I have been thinking that too myself, it seems that a lot of bad publicity about women as well as MEN have been popping up a lot in magazines, newspapers and on the news especially badly behaved celebrities.

I suspect all this has been happening long before you were born but were not made as public as it is now. For example.... you'd have thought paedophiles didn't exist till recently but it has been happening for centuries.

I don't think it is a bad thing to make us more aware of whats happening in our world even if its not pleasant.

It is sad to see people in our society slide down on good manners and lose respect.

That is a daring question. The fact is that women have become more assertive, outspoken, and are more ready than in the past to do and act the way men do. And who is to blame them! It can be a little worrying for men who are used to woman being more docile and submissive, but that is their problem. The day of the 'little woman' who stays at home and gets the housekeeping from the man, and does nothing without his ok are long gone.

I dont think you can sterotype all women as being common and dirty. I think women feel more free to express themselves in this day and age because people have became less discrimmiating towards them but as we can see from ur question their is still people out their that are very judgemental. I am a women and what your saying does not apply to me at all

If you think women are "common and dirty," you really need to re-evaluate where and how you are meeting women.

Just as there are plenty of quality men out there, quality women exist, too. You need to find a classier crowd to hang with if you find the people around you are not living up to your standard.

That said, I can't help but think that phrasing of your questions was meant to antagonize. I think you want women to be offended, resort to name calling, and in doing so provide you with evidence that we are "common and dirty." Nothing feels are good as confirming ones own warped beliefs. Nice try.

Because it's become more acceptable in society so some women feel free to sleep around with many different men and have it broad casted on reality tv.

My opinion:
The quick answer is that perhaps you could be transcending your class. There are many people who have found themselves yearning for more intellectual pursuits and culturing as they carry on in age. It's called maturity. If this is the case, you will need to be open to letting go of some of your previous beliefs and impressions of how people should and shouldn't behave, especially women. There are very few who are worthy of being placed on a pedestal and even then, you yourself have to be a worthy of such.

There could also be a latent and accumulative effect of pop-culture (what is currently "hip-hop") for those who chose to engage in it. Pop culture often glorifies the base and low elements of life and leaves little room for higher reasoning such as dignity and morality. If you are into this stuff, you may want to detoxify yourself from it for awhile and maybe then you will smell the hidden roses amongst the weeds.

Maybe they are the kind of women you attract you cheeky sod.

Nothing common and dirty about me.

What a generalisation........... that is a big judgement to make about all women.

Bcos down heah in the South, sugah, we are kept barefoot and pregnant. So blame it on the men. My feet are filthy! lol

That is a rather sweeping statement. I bet I take more showers than you do. But I rather think you mean talking dirty. I don't and I have never been common. Maybe you are just more aware of it. Maybe because women finally have the freedom to do what they want rather than what men want them to do.

Some of us aren't. Some of us decided to rise up from the filth around us and decide that it didn't matter what men wanted from us, to use us and discard us, to manipulate and control us and make us into objects of their fantasies.
Some of us decided that we were going to allow Womanhood to have a good reputation. That we were going to hold onto our values and our inner heart's cry. Some of us decided that if Man wanted Woman so badly, he could fight for us, he could prove himself worthy of a real woman, not the cheap imitation that can be bought a couple of drinks and sent to his bed.
Some of us decided that it was worth the wait to find a real Man, who wouldn't try to buy our affection with empty words, rehearsed compliments and come-on lines.
Some of us decided we were worth it.
