Cool, how large is he? Lobsters require a lot of space to move. How large is the tank? Also, they are bottom dwellers and love the colder water. Try hiding his food in his tank to give him something to do. Do you have anything else in the tank with him?

is your salt levels ok how about the PH and ammonia? He could just be getting ready to shed his shell. When was the last time he did? Shrimp and lobsters do get "lethargic" just before they do this so that could be another reason he seems "down".

If the water quality is fine, I would try hiding food for him and see if he starts perking up.

Luck

Your lobster is not human and therefore is not depressed. The fact is that it is an animal kept in a relatively small space. Of course the animal is going to look pathetic with nowhere to go. Feed them as recommended, clean the water, and that is the best you can do for the lobster's well being.

I think it's time you make him more flavorfull. Just follow these steps:
1. get butter
2. melt it
3. put lobster in a pot of water
4. eat

Maybe he needs a mate, he sounds lonely.

Hmm... I guess he doesn't have a broken leg, so why shoot him?

Give him a female. He'll feel better in seconds...
