Has anyone else heard about this? Who do you blame? New Jack, Eric Kulas, Paul Heyman, or the parents? I'll leave my opinion out of it for now, but discuss.

I'm aware of what happened, I'd just like to know opinions.

My opinion on the whole thing is New Jack is a crazy guy, but the kid did lie so it was his own fault. I'm also astonish that Paul E. didn't do further research than take a little person's word about the kid being trained by Kowalski. For anyone who's interested, the footage is on youtube. Crazy stuff, and the kid was fat enough to pass for 20 something.

New Jack didn't kill him, he died following a gastric bypass surgery. New Jack bladed him, with no knowledge that he had zero wrestling experience. NJ stated in character that he didn't care whether he lived or died, but he does ask whether or not he's okay. It was Kulas's fault what happened for lying. Had anybody known the truth, he wouldn't have been put in the danger that he did. Mass Transit happened because of Kulas, period.

For the poster who asked about the "Mass Transit" Incident in ECW, here's a brief summary of what happened (for the whole story visit http://www.wrestlinggonewrong.com/video/mass_transit_incident.html): Eric Kulas was a 17 year old aspiring wrestler, who forged documents and even had his father Stephen Kulas lie for him to convince Paul Heyman to put him in the ring under the premise he was 19 years old. In the match he was in, he flinched when being bladed and nearly bled to death. He took several more weapon shots before the match ended. The Kulas family attempted to sue New Jack and also filed charges, but all prosecution was dropped. Unfortunately, "Mass Transit" died of complications from gastric bypass surgery. Heyman deserves some blame for the incident for not doing his homework a little better, but the Kulas' deserve most of the blame. They knew Eric Kulas wasn't old enough to wrestle, but they lied to get him what he wanted. The father went along with something that could have got his son killed.

No. Can you give us more details? Is this where New Jack killed someone?

Edit: Thanks. I did a google and read about it. It sounds like more low class ECW crap to me. These people can't wrestle (still can't) and the can't tell a story in or out of the ring. So they rely on parlor gimmicks, act like stunt men, and use gore to cover up for their inability to actually wrestle.

I'll take Flair, Rhodes, Arn Anderson, Steamboat, Harley Race, Benoit, Angle, or Triple H anyday over these guys. The names I mentioned will bleed and some have even been in ECW, but they can also wrestle and tell a story.
