The program that is useing up my CPU is winesql.exe. When i end the process it come right back on the task manager and up goes the CPU to 100% again.

i have run Mcafee Virus-scan spybot and lavasoft ad-aware all found nill it took 18hours to compleat it ran that slow.
i have also done a chkdsk (scandisk)which took a long time.
i have 96.8 free space on my C drive.
when i close winesql.exe in the task manager the CPU goes down from 100% to 5% then back 100% as winesql.exe comes back on the task manager.

Try putting a search on winesql.exe on google and see what comes up. Have a look in your programmes to see if you have anything dodgy in there. Check your start up settings. I had same problem with mine running at 100% but it was svchost.exe that was causing the problem. I would end the process tree in task manager but it came back again everytime i browsed porn sites. I stopped it in the end by re-formatting my hard drive and staying away from the dodgy sites.

typically when you run task manager it will say 100% mine does it all the time and I have tons of free space on my memory. I would run disk clean-up under system tools in the start menu, de-frag the volume, if this doesnt work you can go to download.com to see if they have a free download of a program called system works. It will delete broken shortcuts, invalid items in your registry, and duplicate files. you can also use it to optimize your internet speed as well as defraging your memory

Try a full system scan for viruses, may have a worm. Delete any unwanted stuff off pc and do a defragment.

Never heard of that one - have you tried running an antivirus/spyware program ?
When my cpu went like that it was caused by a virus.

i think you got a virus, try deleting it from its location. but end task it first.
