Anyone know if it is possible to download a video from youtube? Someone sent me a link, and I want to copy the video, but can see no download button anywhere.

Use Firefox, and download the add-on Ook? Video Ook!
The files will come down as .flv files (Flash video), for which you'll need an .flv player. Get one from one of the sites listed below.

you can try www.keepvid.com
you simply copy the youtube link and paste it where it tells you on the keepvid site. I forget what type of file keepvid converts it to (i think its a .flv file), but you may need to dload a program to convert that file it so u can watch it on your comp. (try googling flv converter, there should be some free ones out there)
I used this site to save you tube videos and load them to my phone, but i converted them to 3gp through a program called Super. (windows media player classic plays 3GP files) Super should work for you to, i dont have the dload link here, but just do a search for it
if keepvid doesnt work for you, there is a free program called vdownloader that should (i use it now instead of keepvid), but again you will need to convert the flv file, or dload a program that will play flv files

There are several sites and programs to help you out, but my favorite is www.vixy.net because it lets you download in different formats, like .mov, .mp4, and .avi so you don't have to have a .flv player.
