I used to work in a shop that sold meat pies and I'd always get these stupid old people complaining that all our pies were hot and why didn't we sell room temperature pies bla bla bla they want it for their dinner tonight so they don't want to get a hot one WHAT THE FUC.K IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!!!!! YOU CAN'T STORE A MEAT PRODUCT AT ROOM TEMPERATURE!!! THERE ARE HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS FOR THIS SORT OF THING. ARE YOU RETARDED OR DO YOU JUST LIKE TO COMPLAIN!!!
I now work as far away from people as possible because I'm sick of having to listen to their stupid questions and be polite. I'm amazed and very impressed by people who can keep it up for any length of time. But that's probably why people in customer service jobs have a shorter life span.

I work in a charity shop where all the goods are donated and get people asking when we will have another item in that was the same as the one we sold yesterday.

I worked in a Pharmacy, and was often asked by customers "Can I take this with my other medication?", so I'd ask what medication they were on, and they didn't know! How am I expected to tell them if it is safe when they can't even tell me what they are taking! I think they thought I mind reading powers.

When my dad worked in Paragon (sport store) people would always either ask if it came in their size (he'd never seen them before) or what colors it came in. Uh, they're all on the rack. Do you see a green one? No? Then we don't have green.

And then people would get really pissed off at him and act like he could magically pull a canoe out of his pocket. Why didn't the store stock it, or stock more often, or stock that color? Damn it, they would report him to his employer! And so on.

I worked part time at McDonalds, when I was a student. Someone asked me if we sold fresh apples once.

Well, this wasn't a question and it was over the phone but daft anyway. I was asked "Please speak up dear, I'm partially sighted"

Also whilst customers have spelt things to me I have heard S for Cigarette and Q for Cucumber.

On Xmas day I was asked ''are you open?'' (meaning the store)

The temptation to reply, ''nah love, i'm a burglar'' was strong.
