These are all types of memory cards. You may have a memory card reader which accepts several types of memory card sizes and types.

SD= Secure Digital
MS/Pro= Memory Stick Pro
MMC= MultiMedia Card
XD=Extreme Digital, used in digital cameras

these are several types of memory cards, primarily used by digital cameras. it would depend on the camera on what type it uses. for example fuji cameras primarily use XD picture cards, while sony uses Memory Stick/MS Pro Duo
