Believe me - sleep now cause you won't be sleeping when the baby comes. No sleep is too much while you are pregnant obviously your body needs the rest...

During the first trimester of my first pregnancy, I would sleep 20 hours a day when I could!!!
Yes, it's perfectly normal to need more sleep when you're pregnant--just thinking about all the things your body is doing could wear a girl out! It also depends on hormone levels--during my last pregnancy, I slept all the time. This time around, I have insomnia. My hormone levels are different, that's all.
You should be sure to mention it to your doctor, just to double check and make sure you are not anemic, but it is VERY common to need that much sleep during the first few months and the last two. Good luck!

Yes, that is a lot of sleep. Have your doctor check your blood for anemia, not uncommon in pregnancy. Generally you are most tired in the first trimester.
A regular routine of 8 hours of sleep plus a short nap is the norm.
If you are sleeping that much, I assume you are not working. Perhaps you are bored or under stimulated. Try taking a walk for 20-30 minutes per day to rev up your energy.

In the first trimester it's very normal to be tired, btu if you are sleeping and not feeling rested, that sounds like you need some exercise.
I woudl try walking at least 3-4 days a week for 30 minutes. When I started walking, it improved not only how well I sleep at night but it decreased my appetite and cured my constipation!

Definitely get your rest now! After baby joins you, you will wish you had those 12 hours. Your body is working overtime right now, and you need every bit of sleep you can get. Your second trimester you will feel more upbeat and then it is back to tired sleepy body again in the 3rd and final stage. Good luck to you!

No you are sleeping as your body needs it, you should think youself lucky, many women are unable to sleep through the night and feel worse for it the next day, I am now 31 weeks and never feel as though ive had enough sleep, but cant sleep any further. Take your time and relax and enjoy being able to sleep when you can, I wish it was me.
Good Luck and Congratulations

My first pregnancy I slept most of my free time away. My second I spent most of my free time hugging the toilet bowl. Sleep is nicer!! No two pregnancies are the same. Go with what your body is telling you. It may be the last time you will get uninterrupted sleep for a long time.
