Hi. I've been having a ton of stress at work lately and have sorta had the flu for about forever now, and I know I've probably been acting like a total biotch for a week or two.
My poor husband has had to put up with it and I want to do something really nice to thank him for his understanding (yeah, besides moving out). What would you like in this situation?

Tell him Monday you have a surprise this weekend but he has to do everything you ask without question, make it dirty and he'll do it. If he works Mon. - Fri. tell him Friday go have a beer with the boys. Saturday let him chill until about 6pm. While he's taking it easy you go get ready to go out, giving him enough time to get ready at 5:30-6:00pm tell hem to get a shower, then take him out, to dinner and what ever else he'd like to do. When you get home well I think you can handle it from here. And when the evening is over thank him for being a good man to you.

I'm not a guy, but...
On a Saturday, if possible, let him just lay on the couch. Make him some good food, or snacks, bring a beer when he needs one, etc. Then, go take a shower or bath. Put something sexy on under a robe, or, you could just come out of your bedroom wearing something he wouldn't expect. For instance, my husband had told me one time he wanted to see me in a leather jacket ONLY, and black high heels. I walked into the living room like that, walked over and turned the TV off, put on "Paradise City" by Guns & Roses and danced for him. My God we had some good sex and had forgotten all about my PMS for the past week.

Show up naked, bring beer.
You already know all of the things he likes, and you already know all of the things he REALLY likes, if you know what I mean.
He has put up with you because he loves you and as a man I can guarantee that there is nothing he would enjoy more than a little adult naked time with his wife. It's free, it's good for you, and most of all, it's every mans favorite gift.
If you have kids send them to grandmas, to the movies, to the mall, to the sweatshop, where ever, just get them out! Unplug the phone and give him the kind of attention that ONLY a wife can give.

It might be "sad but true" but i'd have to agree with him, given your over the flu. For me I am generally happy with a simple effort to show me your at least trying to make good on your recent negative attitude.

Sit him down and tell him how much you care about him. Tell him you realize how difficult you have been lately and that you want to make it up to him in some way. Come up with a few ideas from this "peanut" gallery yet leave it up to him. He may ask for something sexual or he may just want to go out to dinner WITH YOU.

buy something sexy to wear for him-make him a great dinner doesnt have to be fancy just something hes would like let him unwind on the sofa suggest he lays down on the bed afterwards and give hima great massage -just pamper him -pretend hes at a spa and your the hot masseuse-it will be a treat for both of you!!! works everytime!!

Buy him tickets for him and a buddy to go to a sporting event, gift certificate for a round of golf, anything that he would enjoy doing with a friend. And of course if you were to be waiting for him in a nightie when ihe got home........
